Free Printable Chore Chart for Kids

My boys are now at the age where they can help out and do small chores. It has worked out great thus far because they LOVE having a job to do. Since they are still fairly young we like to keep the tasks simple.

Use our free printable chore charts to help get your toddler and older children started with doing chores.

There are 3 different versions you can print: boy, girl or a rainbow-colored theme printable. We also have a blank chore chart so that you can fill in the chores you would like for your child to do each week.

Printable Chore Charts for Kids

This first version is a rainbow-colored chore chart and already has the tasks pre-filled for you. This chore chart is geared more toward younger children because of the basic tasks that it includes.

Tasks:

• Make bed

• Put away clean clothes

• Set dinner table

• Clear dinner table

• Pick up toys

• Put clothes in hamper

As your child completes each task, they can either color in the corresponding box or even put the letter “X’ to watch their progress each day.

You can even make it fun by letting them put a sticker in each block as they complete the chore.

Below, is the same rainbow-colored chore chart, but this one does not have any chores filled in. You can print out a copy and then fill in the chores you want your child to complete each day or week.

This blank chore chart is nice because you may want to switch up their chores each week.

The next chore chart is the same as the first one with the chore pre-filled in for you, but it is a pink/purple version.

This last chore chart printable is also the same as above but in blue/green. Just click on the image below and instantly download and print a copy of the chore chart for your kids.

Motivating a child to clean or do chores can be hard.

It takes time to get into a routine and for them to learn that they have responsibilities around the house too.

These printable chore charts will help to make it a little bit easier and definitely more fun.
